should be ready in a couple days.
I have some time off, so...

I was VERY pleased to find out the chestplate comes off.
that'll make my job a bit easier.
I nerver had the "nerve" to disassemble a fig. I always fear to break something... Maybe one day I'll get the courage and try something.
well, I have 2 more of this fig myself, so I figured ONE of them would come apart okay.
and actually, this is the easiest time I have every had taking a fig apart.
Mandy looks like he's easy to take apart. This week my 12" mandy and regular decided to try shelfdiving without any parachute... The head on the regular one flew right off. At least nothing was broke on this one, just popped the head back in and everything was fine.
But on the 12" the talons on is left foot broke clean. A little of super glue fixed everything though.
How do you take apart a figure that have glued part together?
oops!
sorry to keep ya waiting...
well, in this case, I dunked his head in boiling water. off pops the head.
same thing for arms/legs/chestplate/kneespads.
I then cooled the torso down (cold water), and gently pried it apart.
he popper quite easily.
when they don't wanna pop like that, I usually dremel out the pegs holding them together on the inside. then, try popping again.
if it still doesn't work, I'll carefully edge along the seam with an X-acto blade.
and occassionally, I just tear the fucking thing to pieces.

well, since it usually results in the fig being FUBAR, I tend to save it as a last resort.
Thanks peeker!
